Job summary

Pullman East Melbourne is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. You will help keep kitchens organized and impeccably clean, ensuring equipment is maintained and ready for service in a dynamic hotel environment.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, stock handling, and supporting chefs to maintain high presentation and hygiene standards across F&B outlets. Flexibility across shifts is required and you will work with a passionate, professional team.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate is required.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with motivation to join a team.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment with high quality standards.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
• Rinse crockery and cutlery, load/unload dishwasher.
• Wash pots by hand.
• Provide clean and sanitised equipment to F&B outlets.
• Transport and store food items using correct handling methods.
• Wipe down benches.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Assist and liaise with the chef on duty as required.
