Placements24 is seeking a diligent Kitchen Porter to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a busy kitchen. You will wash dishes, support kitchen staff, and help keep workspaces tidy to ensure safe food preparation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work.

Responsibilities

• Wash and properly store all dishes, cookware, and utensils, ensuring they are clean and sanitized.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and surrounding kitchen spaces.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs, such as chopping vegetables.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures and local regulations.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are adequately stocked and properly maintained.
