Job summary

Proserpine Meals on Wheels is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to direct the preparation, packaging and distribution of meals. You will ensure budget-compliant purchasing, maintain a safe kitchen, and lead staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality meals to clients.

The role requires strong communication, menu planning, and food safety knowledge, with responsibilities spanning staff training, HACCP-aligned procedures, and collaboration with management to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing meals in a commercial capacity.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
• Menu planning experience.

Responsibilities
