Job summary

Ovolo Hotels in Canberra is seeking an entry-level Kitchen Attendant to join our Fabulous Unconventional, Never Boring Team. This casual role requires flexibility in your availability and supports smooth kitchen operations on shift.

No prior experience is required, though a kitchen background is desirable. Bring a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn; you’ll work with a fun, friendly team in a dynamic hotel environment.

The Gig

Responsibilities

Ovolo Hotels is in search of their next Kitchen Attendant to come join our Fabulous Unconventional, Never Boring Team! You will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations at all time whilst on shift. This is a Casual role and will require flexibility within your availability. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Assist the chefs with food preparation
• Safely operating dishwasher, cleaning restaurant dishes/glass as well as all utensils used within the kitchen
• Ensuring the order and cleanliness of the kitchen facilities up to government and company sanitation standards
• Maintaining all kitchen appliances and cooking equipment, ensuring everything is safely stored away, as well as stock levels are up to standard
• Removal of rubbish bins and waste from the kitchen premises

About You

You will have bright and bubbly attitude that will fit in with our fun and friendly kitchen team.
