Job summary

Ovolo Hotels in Canberra is seeking an entry-level Kitchen Assistant to support the Monster Kitchen and Bar team. No prior experience is required, but experience in a kitchen is desirable and a can-do attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chefs with food preparation
• Safely operating dishwasher, cleaning restaurant dishes/glass as well as all utensils used within the kitchen
• Ensuring the order and cleanliness of the kitchen facilities up to government and company sanitation standards
• Maintaining all kitchen appliances and cooking equipment, ensuring everything is safely stored away, as well as stock levels are up to standard
• Removal of rubbish bins and waste from the kitchen premises

About You
