Job summary

Risoriso in Western Australia is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

You will wash dishes, help during service, follow safety standards, and contribute to a friendly team environment with on-the-job training and flexible part-time or casual hours. No formal experience required; training provided. Must have the right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Past kitchen or hospitality experience preferred; training provided.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to follow instructions and kitchen procedures.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Must have the right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas and storage areas.
• Assist chefs during service when required.
• Take out rubbish and keep waste areas clean.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support the team during busy service periods.
• Ensure kitchen is clean and organised at the end of each shift.
