Job summary

Greenbank Services Club in Queensland is seeking a Kitchenhand to join our busy kitchen team. You will work in fast paced cafe or large production kitchen environments, handling cleaning, waste disposal, hygiene practices and stock control.

The role includes food preparation as directed, with duties extending to other tasks as needed. Flexibility to work nights and weekends and a willingness to learn will help you thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Hygiene for Food Handlers Certification preferred.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training when required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the fast paced environment of either a café kitchen or large production kitchen.
• Cleaning of all kitchenware, equipment and utensils.
• Disposal of all waste and sorting of recycled items.
• Demonstration of hygienic and safe work practices.
• Responsible for strict stock control and food storage.
• Food preparation as directed.
• Other duties as requested.
