Job summary

Lucas Collective, the group behind Chin Chin Sydney, is hiring a Kitchen Hand to provide support to all chefs and maintain a clean, hygienic workspace in a high-volume venue.

The role requires adaptability, strong time management, and a solid understanding of food safety, with the ability to work autonomously or in a team and to handle shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays. Immediate start in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand.
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment advantageous.
• Organisational, time management & problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
• Reliable and hard working.
• Must have valid work rights in Australia.

About the Opportunity:

Provide support to all chefs whilst maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment advantageous
• Demonstrated organisational, time management & problem-solving skills
• Must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Reliable and hard working
• Must have valid work rights in Australia
