Job summary

The Boatshed Pyrmont is seeking reliable Kitchen Hands to join our team at the New Sydney Fish Market in Pyrmont. This role offers plenty of hours, flexible shifts, and a friendly working environment.

You will assist chefs with basic prep, wash dishes, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen, while following food safety standards. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with free lunch provided.

Qualifications

Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Hardworking and willing to learn.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good team player.
Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised.
Cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas.
Receiving and putting away deliveries.
General kitchen hand duties as required.
Following food safety and hygiene standards.
