Job summary

Chin Chin Sydney in Sydney’s Surry Hills is hiring a Kitchen Hand to support our chefs and help maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team, assisting with prep, dishwashing, and station readiness.

The ideal candidate has prior kitchen hand experience, understands food safety, and can work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays. Australian work rights required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand.
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Reliable and hard-working.
• Must have valid work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to all chefs and maintain a clean, hygienic workplace.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Help with stock rotation and kitchen readiness.
