Mission Australia in Orange, NSW is seeking a casual Kitchen Hand to join the Residential Aged Care team at Benjamin Short Grove. You will assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals, help maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and support the Head Chef while treating residents with dignity and respect.
Shifts run on a 7-day roster including morning and afternoon slots; a Food Safety Certificate and a commitment to older Australians' wellbeing are essential.
Salary: $39.08 per hour + Super Location: Orange, NSW 2800

Join Mission Australia's Residential Aged Care team and play an important role in supporting the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. As a Kitchen Hand at Benjamin Short Grove in Orange, you'll be part of a dedicated team supporting the preparation and service of nutritious meals for our residents. Working alongside the Head Chef and hospitality team, you'll help create a safe, welcoming and supportive home where residents are treated with dignity, respect and compassion. Benjamin Short Grove provides specialist residential aged care for people who have experienced homelessness, are at risk of homelessness, or are experiencing financial or social disadvantage. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and making a genuine difference in people's lives. From supporting the preparation and service of meals to helping maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, no two days are the same, and every day offers the chance to positively impact residents' wellbeing. We currently have shifts available on a 7-day rotating roster, including 6:00am - 2:06pm, 9:30am - 5:36pm and 1:00pm - 6:00pm, offering flexibility and the opportunity to find a roster that suits your lifestyle.
