Industry Beans Chadstone is looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our iconic venue in Chadstone. Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Hand supports the Chefs and back-of-house operations, performing prep, cleaning and service tasks to uphold high standards.

The role is day-time only with penalty rates on weekends. It’s a great opportunity for someone studying a commercial cookery course, offering hands-on experience and a friendly, inclusive workplace culture at Chadstone.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Hand experience preferred.
• Ability to work with BOH and FOH teams.
• Availability Monday & Wednesday is essential.
• 2–3 days a week, 15–23 hours per week.

Responsabilités

• Operate the industrial dishwasher.
• Wash and sort dishes.
• Close and clean up duties.
• Follow sanitation policies.
• Assist Chefs and kitchen staff during peak times.
• Clean spills or broken glassware.
• Assist with basic prep duties.

Industry Beans Chadstone is looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our iconic venue in Chadstone.

The Role

Reporting to the Head Chef the Kitchen Hand is central to supporting the Chefs and the back of house operation. Working in service and completing prep and cleaning duties, the Kitchen Hand is key to delivering and maintaining a high standard and consistent quality of all menu items. The Kitchen Hand team member works day times only and gets paid penalty rates for weekends. This role is a perfect opportunity for someone studying a commercial cookery course.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Operate the industrial dishwasher
• Wash and sort dishes when necessary
• Closing and cleaning up duties
• Follow sanitation policies at all times
• Provide assistance to Chefs and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
• Assist the chefs with basic prep duties

You will be perfect for this role if you have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• The ability to work alongside a supporting BOH and FOH team
• Monday to Sunday availability, with Monday and Wednesday a must
• 2 - 3 days a week 15 - 23 hours
