Job summary

York on Lilydale is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced pub setting. You'll assist with food prep and cleaning tasks, supporting the team leader and ensuring safety standards.

This hands-on role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. We value people who bring energy, a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards

Qualifications

About you:

• You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
