Job summary

Canterbury League Club in Sydney is seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Attendants to join our busy kitchen team. This role focuses on keeping a clean, safe kitchen and supporting a fast-paced hospitality operation.

You will work with the Chef team to maintain hygiene standards, handle dishwashing, and assist with general kitchen duties while demonstrating strong food safety and WHS awareness. Flexibility for a 7‑day rotating roster is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Safe Food Handling Certification.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn and adaptability to shift patterns including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen in line with Canterbury's standards of excellence
• Assisting the Chef team with preparation and general kitchen duties
• Ensuring safe work practices with a focus on Work, Health and Safety
• Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing facilities and associated kitchen equipment
