IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to support our kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will help keep the kitchen clean, safe, and hygienic, assist with basic food preparation, manage deliveries, and maintain storage areas in a busy hotel environment.

The role requires reliability, hardworking attitude and a willingness to learn within a wider hotel team. Weekend, evening and public holiday availability is required to cover shifts.

Competenze

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Prep Chef.
• Experience in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a wider hotel team.

Mansioni

• Cleaning and sterilizing countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment.
• Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators.
• Receiving and organizing deliveries to the kitchen.
• Supporting chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling and washing.
• Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes.

Join our Kitchen team and play an important role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Kitchen Attendant, you will support our chefs and food & beverage operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.

You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, assisting with food preparation, managing deliveries and storage areas, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are followed at all times.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, a great team player, and passionate about contributing to a positive guest experience. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays is required.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Cleaning and sterilizing countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
• Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
• Receiving and organizing deliveries to the kitchen
• Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
