Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the production kitchen and maintain high standards while serving patients across the Darlinghurst campus.

The role involves cleaning, operating dishwashers, chemical handling, stock processes and strict daily schedules; prior washroom/cleaning experience is preferred and flexibility to cover early mornings, afternoons, and evenings is required.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Kitchen Assistant to work in our production kitchen at St Vincent's Private Hospital to maintain high levels of professional standards in servicing patients across St Vincent's Darlinghurst Campus.

St Vincent's Private Hospital production kitchen is a cook fresh facility with a high-quality food safety accredited meal service, producing more than 60,000 meals per month. This is a large team of approx. 40 staff in this busy kitchen.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Cleaning and Washing up responsibilities
• Utilisation of 2 large commercial dishwashers
• Correct application of chemicals for cleaning purposes
• Following processes for stock and equipment
• Adhering to a daily time schedule.
