Job summary

Little Miss Muffin Boutique Bakery in Southport, QLD is seeking a Kitchen hand to help make our delicious products. The role operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a minimum 20 hours per week, and training may be provided.

Experience is beneficial but not mandatory, and applicants should maintain high personal hygiene standards and be able to lift up to 20 kg. Fluency in English is required and having own transport is advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare batches of ingredients according to predetermined recipes to meet production schedule demands.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools under the guidance of experienced staff.
• Support team members in various manufacturing tasks to meet production goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Assist in inventory management by stocking ingredients and supplies and notifying management when stocks are running low.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete tasks and contribute to a positive work environment.
