The United Protestant Association of NSW Limited – Sydney NSW is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join the team at Jindera Hostel in our Riverina Murray Region. A great opportunity exists, with availability required on weekends, for someone to perform cooking and kitchen duties.

You will provide a high standard of quality care to residents by cooking and serving meals and maintaining kitchen operations in a busy aged care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, preparation and cooking fresh meals.
• Experience in table service and clearing duties.
• Experience in fast-paced kitchen and bulk food preparation.
• Knowledge and experience in HACCP and Food Safety Standards.
• Experience in Aged Care desirable.
• Team player with high motivation.
• Available to work various shifts across days.

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Jindera Hostel in our Riverina Murray Region. A great opportunity exists, with availability required on weekends, for someone to perform cooking and kitchen duties.

We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of cooking and food service within the facility.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experienced in planning, preparation and cooking fresh meals
• Experience in table service and clearing duties
• Experience in working in a fast-paced kitchen and or bulk food preparation to desirable
• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
• Experience in Aged Care desirable
• Team player who is highly motivated
• Availability to work various shifts across various days
