Job summary

Best Staffing is recruiting an Early Childhood Teacher for a privately owned, meeting-rated early learning service in Coomera. You will lead the kindy room, plan the day, and work with a team of educators to deliver quality learning experiences.

The role requires an approved ECT qualification (or working towards one), current Blue Card, and First Aid/CPR. You will be on-site at a small Gold Coast centre that prioritises children’s outcomes.

Qualifications

• Approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification or working towards one.
• Teacher registration as required by regulation.
• Current Queensland Blue Card.
• Current First Aid, CPR and child protection training.
• Knowledge of National Quality Standard and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kindy room: program, daily rhythm and educators working with you.
• Plan indoor and outdoor experiences aligned to children's interests.
• Keep the room documentation current, capturing children's experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the team.
• Maintain ratios, supervision and child safety as non-negotiables.
• Lead supervision in the yard with purposeful activities.
• Own areas of the classroom and keep them prepared.
