Job summary

Benowa Early Learning Centre on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to deliver play-based learning in a warm, safe and nurturing environment. You will engage with children, families and Educator peers, embedding the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and EYLF in daily practice.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood or equivalent, current First Aid/ CPR and a Blue Card.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Blue Card required.
• Experience with play-based learning and engaging with children and families.
• Strong documentation of observations and child development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver play-based learning aligned with Queensland guidelines and EYLF.
• Engage with children, families, and Educator peers to support social and emotional development.
• Document observations and learning stories to track progress.
• Prepare and write transition statements for children entering school.
