Job summary

ECMS is seeking a Break Cover Educator to support Macleod Preschool in Melbourne. This ongoing, part-time role runs 10:30am–3:00pm on Tuesdays, with a focus on safeguarding children and delivering high-quality early years education.

You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, have WWCC and Mandatory Reporting, and are committed to consistent, reflective practice. ECMS offers supportive, inclusive culture and strong professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is required.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• Mandatory Reporting Certificate and Foundations of Child Safety training are required.
• Police Check and First Aid in an Education and Care Setting are required.

Responsibilities

• Create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow.
• Contribute to the safe, inclusive and engaging learning program.
• Support preschool programming during break cover sessions and on Tuesdays as scheduled.
