Job summary

Darebin Childcare and Kindergarten is seeking a passionate Part-time Kindergarten Teacher to deliver high-quality, play-based learning for children aged 3–5 within our funded 3-year-old kindergarten program. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and the community in a non-profit setting.

The successful candidate will hold VIC DoE & ACECQA-aligned qualifications, VIT registration, WWCC, and up-to-date safety training, including First Aid and CPR.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a childcare setting.
• Bachelor qualification aligned with VIC DoE & ACECQA.
• VIT Registration (Teacher role).
• Current WWCC.
• Foundations of Child Safety & Mandatory Reporting training.
• First Aid, CPR & Anaphylaxis certification, Do Food Safely.
• Strong knowledge of VEYLDF, NQS & Child Safe Standards.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and commitment to quality care.

Early Childhood Educator Opportunities (Non-Profit Community Centre)

We seeking a passionate Part-time Kindergarten Teacher (29.75 hrs/week, PCS Award) Teacher to deliver high-quality, play-based learning aligned with evidence-informed practice. You will contribute to a collaborative team and build strong relationships with families and the community.

Our funded 3-year-old kindergarten operates within an integrated long day care program (ages 3–5).

Requirements

• 1 year experience in a childcare setting
• Relevant qualification (Bachelor in line with VIC DoE & ACECQA)
• VIT Registration (Teacher role)
• Current WWCC
• Foundations of Child Safety & Mandatory Reporting training
