Job summary

Department of Education in Coburg is seeking a Kindergarten Improvement Advisor (0.8 FTE) to support funded kindergarten services in improving quality and capability. The role focuses on implementing school readiness funding, VEYLDF-aligned reforms, and increasing hours for four-year-old kindergarten.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in early learning, strong interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills, and a solid understanding of the Victorian early childhood

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or postgraduate qualifications in Education – Early Childhood
• Experience in an early childhood setting or curriculum delivery and advisory work

Responsibilities

• Advise and support funded kindergarten services to improve quality and capability
• Contribute to school readiness funding and VEYLDF-aligned reforms
• Promote Best Start, Best Life reforms and increased hours for four-year-old kindergarten
• Collaborate with kindergarten services through reflective discussion and advisory support
• Build capacity of funded services to continuously improve service quality
