Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Centres Pty is seeking a dedicated kitchen support to assist the Centre Chef in preparing nutritious meals and purees for children, including babies, while following dietary requirements. You will lead culinary activities with Educators and ensure strict food safety and hygiene standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate time management, and reliable communication to keep daily kitchen operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Current Food Safety Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Chef with preparing nutritious meals and purees, following dietary requirements for babies and children
• Provide culinary classes alongside Centre Chef and Educators
• Maintain food safety standards and a clean, safe kitchen per Authority requirements and Green Leaves standards
• Support the kitchen operations with effective time management and clear communication
