Qualifications

• Able to create a nurturing, inclusive and learner-centred environment that supports student growth and achievement.
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
• The desire to engage with a Catholic learning organisation.
• Experience and proven record in effective classroom learning and teaching.
• Advanced understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices.
• A willingness to engage with the Professional Learning Communities program and the ability to work effectively as part of a Professional Learning Team.
• A demonstrated understanding of the Church’s teachings and the Catholic teacher’s role in the mission of the Church

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
• Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
• Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
• Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.
• Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.
