Job summary

Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking a self-motivated individual to join the Water Reclamation team to support day-to-day operations and the running of sewage treatment plants around Wagga Wagga and surrounding towns.

This permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week) offers a remuneration package of $2,686.30 gross per fortnight with the potential to progress to $3,223.56 gross per fortnight plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Class C Driver's Licence required.
• White Card required.
• AQF3 Chemical Accreditation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of the sewage treatment plants to ensure best practice.
• Undertake sample collection in accordance with licence requirements.
• Perform general maintenance on sewage treatment plant grounds and process units.
• Support cleaning of process units as part of daily operations.
