Job summary

Duo Tax Quantity Surveyors is a growing Australian property services business seeking a resourceful full-stack software developer to build, improve and maintain the applications our team and customers use every day.

You’ll work with Claude Code and Codex within Git repositories, investigate existing systems, plan changes, implement features, diagnose issues and verify results. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Homebush with access to public transport or parking.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering working software with Claude Code, Codex or comparable coding agents.
• Ability to read unfamiliar codebases, trace problems across frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with internal teams to identify bottlenecks and turn business needs into useful software.
• Build and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, integrations and automation.
• Follow repository instructions and established architecture, including shared components and API contracts.
• Manage changes through Git branches, isolated worktrees and GitHub pull requests while preserving other developers’ work.
• Review generated code, investigate root causes and run checks appropriate to each change.
• Maintain databases, authentication, access controls and secure handling of credentials.
• Deploy updates, verify live behaviour and maintain practical documentation.
