Job summary

DingGo is hiring a Junior Software Developer to join a collaborative team transforming automotive claims and repair workflows in Australia. You’ll start by learning our PHP/CakePHP core, then grow into modern frontend interfaces (React) and AI-assisted development tools.

You’ll work with product managers and senior engineers to deliver real value and own your work responsibly. The role emphasizes practical coding, clear communication, and initiative, with on-site benefits and a flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Practical software development experience (employment, freelance, or real-world project).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teammates.
• Proactive and capable of starting useful work without micro-management.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and maintain the PHP application while contributing to frontend and API interfaces as you grow.
• Clarify requirements with product managers and senior developers; explain technical concepts clearly.
• Write tests, debug issues, and participate in code reviews to improve quality.
• Investigate defects, identify root causes, and document findings for teammates.
• Expand knowledge across backend services, relational data, and frontend components at a sustainable pace.
