Job summary

Quality People is seeking a Junior Software Developer for a 3 months+ contract in Darwin to contribute to a critical digital transformation program within a government environment.

The role focuses on development, maintenance and operational support of high-impact systems, with supervision and growth opportunities for someone near completion of an IT/CS degree and with basic scripting and Windows/Linux familiarity.

Qualifications

• Qualification (or near completion) in IT, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated capability in software development such as scripting, coding fundamentals, or application support.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and general administration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under supervision.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of core applications.
• Support the administration of development, test, and production environments.
