Job summary

Shire Christian School in Southern Sydney invites applications for a Junior School Teacher role. The position is available as permanent and fixed-term (12 months) starting January 2027, within a supportive, collaborative Junior School community.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong classroom management, differentiation, and effective parent engagement, with a commitment to embedding a Biblical perspective into the curriculum and using ICT to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered teacher with appropriate qualifications.
• Experience in primary education is preferred.

Innovative and energetic Christian educators are invited to apply for the position of Junior School Teacher. We are currently recruiting for permanent and fixed term (12months) Junior School Teachers to commence in January 2027.

Nestled in the leafy suburb of Barden Ridge in Southern Sydney, Shire Christian School has been providing high-quality Christian education for nearly 50 years.
