Job summary

Transdev is hiring a Junior Infrastructure Engineer (V.I.E) for Parramatta, NSW, Australia. Based in Parramatta, you will support the infrastructure and asset management teams in maintaining and improving the Parramatta Light Rail assets.

You will collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors, ensuring documentation and procedures meet GRCLR guidelines while developing your engineering expertise within a multicultural environment. The assignment lasts 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechatronic, or Systems Engineering.
• Exposure or experience in rail infrastructure maintenance (signalling, power, communications, electrical, track, or civil).
• Understanding of maintenance processes and engineering change management.
• Familiarity with rail technical standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Comply with rail, safety, and environmental legislation and GRCLR procedures.
• Investigate asset performance and maintenance needs under guidance of Senior Infrastructure Manager.
• Prepare and support engineering change proposals and participate in FRACAS and change control processes.
• Manage configuration change activities including requirements, documentation, and liaison with suppliers.
