Job summary

Lynxx seeks a Junior DevOps/Software Engineer (Python Developer) to join our Data Analytics & High Tech Systems team. You’ll collaborate with quantitative data scientists and maintain production-grade Python services and APIs in a dynamic, diverse setting.

You will work from our Sydney or Melbourne offices or hybrid arrangements, with 50% in-office time at a minimum, and grow through our training programs and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Excellent Python fluency with experience in data-driven environments.
• Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., Django) and APIs.
• Ability to work with data scientists on quantitative projects.
• Strong attention to detail and production-systems mindset.
• Comfort with a collaborative, feedback-rich, diverse team culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based services and APIs.
• Collaborate with data scientists on analytics projects.
• Contribute to DevOps and data engineering tasks for production systems.
• Adapt to a hybrid, office-and-remote work setup as required.
