Job summary

The Iconic in Sydney is seeking an experienced Junior Planner to join the Planning team. You will update, collate and interpret analysis to provide solutions aligned with The Iconic strategy, working closely with Buying to optimise in-season trading and grow the business.

Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will forecast trends, manage the BUB process, own the WSSI forecasts and contribute to the department strategy.

Qualifications

• Entry/Junior Planner with commercial awareness and strong relationship skills.
• Ability to forecast trends and support in-season planning.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams including Buying, Finance, Operations.

Responsibilities

• Communicates confidently with senior management to drive department growth.
• Manages BUB process with Buying to meet deadlines.
• Owns forecasting and presents at reforecast meetings.
• Prioritises workload across the planning team during peak periods.
• Reviews performance and recommends areas to grow or decline.
• Ensures tools and reporting support data-based decisions.
• Mitigates risk and drives continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with Planning Manager and Buyers to maximize season profit.
