Sharp & Carter is partnering with a large, values-driven organisation to recruit a motivated Junior Payroll Officer for their People & Culture team in Western Australia. You will be trained by an experienced payroll professional while contributing to end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for ~2,500 employees.

Qualifications

• Some exposure to payroll, finance or administration is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn and develop payroll knowledge in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-to-end processing of a fortnightly payroll for ~2,500 employees.
• Support payroll processing to ensure accurate and on-time payments.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, validations and adjustments.
• Respond to employee payroll enquiries and escalate complex matters as needed.
• Learn payroll legislation, agreements and employment conditions.
• Support salary packaging and novated lease arrangements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with compliance and reporting.
