Job summary

Neuro Alliance is seeking a Junior Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in NSW. You will be mentored by a Senior Speech Pathologist and work across clinic, home, school, daycare and community settings, supported by an Augmentative and Alternative Communication Lab and a broad range of therapy tools.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in paediatric settings with a willingness to engage in a learning plan.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and good computer literacy.
• Ability to work with others and autonomously within a team with a friendly attitude.
• Passion for working with children across neurological and disability populations.
• Hold NSW Driver’s Licence and provide a driving record.
• Have SPA registration and insurances.
• Hold WWCC and NDIs worker screening or be willing to undergo one.
• WWCC or willingness to obtain WWCC prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced-based services to children with neurological, developmental or genetic conditions.
• Develop novel treatment programs using a wide array of therapy tools and technologies.
• Train staff and families to ensure adequate program dosage.
• Work within a dynamic team to deliver high-standard therapy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development both internally and externally.
• Provide high-level verbal and written communication with medical specialists, GP, families and funding bodies.
