Job summary

B! Brand Design, based in Melbourne, is seeking a Junior Designer to work across brand, packaging and digital projects with a strong emphasis on packaging design. You’ll support the creative team and gain hands-on experience from concept to rollout in a friendly studio that values growth and collaboration.

You’ll develop a broader skillset as you take on more responsibility and work with the team to deliver high-quality design across multiple formats.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in graphic design (essential).
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Basic knowledge of AI platforms used for static image creation and motion graphics.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Solid understanding of current packaging design trends.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Creative Director on projects and workflow.
• Ensure briefs are delivered by coordinating with stakeholders for information and approvals.
• Approach design strategically with the end consumer in mind.
• Collaborate on concept development, design development, refinement and roll-out.
• Work independently on smaller projects.
• Take on other design tasks, including product concept renders and image work.
• Provide accurate time estimates for projects and work within deadlines.
• Keep skills sharp by engaging with design media and industry resources.
• Maintain file management and reporting processes.
• Support office systems to keep operations running smoothly.
• Become a valued part of the team.
