KBR Australia is seeking a Junior Naval Architect to contribute to a complex maritime sustainment program. You will work under senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in hull design, structures, hydrodynamics and stability while developing your technical capability.

You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, adhere to safety and certification standards, and grow toward independent design tasks within a dynamic defence engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Architecture) is required.
• Professional registration / Chartered Engineer status is highly regarded.
• Minimum 2 years related experience in Naval Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision deliver Naval Architecture expertise and technical advice, in support of the CLCM.
• Perform activities directed by the ACSSPO Principal Engineer as required.
• Deliver engineering activities to ensure compliance with policy, plans and processes.
