BMT Group invites graduates and early-career Naval Architects to join our multidisciplinary team in Melbourne. You will work on diverse Australian maritime programs, from new construction to upgrades, gaining hands-on exposure under mentoring engineers.

We value flexibility and development, offering hybrid work from our Melbourne CBD office and home. You’ll collaborate across disciplines and travel to ship sites as needed to support projects and client interactions.

Formación

• Degree in Naval Architecture.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Well-developed problem diagnosis and solving skills.
• Effective time management skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Work on a diverse range of Australian and regional maritime projects, including naval surface ships and upgrades.
• Provide specialist engineering design support for equipment and systems integration on naval vessels.
• Support whole-of-ship design teams across Naval Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, and Combat Systems.
• Undertake engineering projects from investigations to detailed design and production implementation.
• Travel for onsite ship inspections, tests and trials, and represent BMT with Defence/Navy clients.
