Job summary

I-MED, a leading medical imaging provider, seeks a Junior Machine Learning Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role in Melbourne or Sydney. Join a team delivering scalable ML/AI solutions that support clinical and operational outcomes across our organisation.

Work with Senior ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Clinical stakeholders to move ML models from development to production, building robust pipelines and governance.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years' experience in ML engineering, ML development or software engineering with applied ML.
• Strong Python programming skills; experience with SQL, Linux, Git and MLOps.
• Experience deploying ML models or AI solutions in production with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train and evaluate ML models and build AI solutions.
• Deploy, integrate and operate scalable ML/AI services and workflows.
• Develop and maintain ML pipelines with batch and real-time inference; integrate with enterprise platforms.
• Implement testing, monitoring and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with technical and clinical teams to deliver secure, governed solutions.
