Beaver Process Equipment Pty Ltd in Perth seeks a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You’ll gain exposure across product engineering, mechanical design, and pre-production engineering while supporting engineering and operations teams through the full product lifecycle.

You will work on slurry piping systems, develop manufacturing specs, and perform design checks using CAD tools, contributing to continuous improvement and client projects across Australia.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with slurry or process piping systems and components is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles, design calculations and standards.
• Practical interest in product engineering, manufacturing and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and configure mechanical equipment and components for slurry and process piping systems.
• Develop manufacturing specifications for standard and custom products.
• Apply engineering principles and standards in design and specify QC, testing and inspection.
• Carry out engineering calculations and design checks.
• Review customer piping specifications and drawings to determine solutions.
• Assess designs for manufacturability and design tooling from concept to manufacture.
• Use 3D CAD to model and release drawings, BOMs and pre-production docs.
• Lead investigations and continuous improvement on products and processes.
• Coordinate technical requirements with fabricators, suppliers and workshop.
• Attend client sites to review field applications and verify installations.
