Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within IT.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and invoicing.
  • PC Hardware maintenance experience is a plus.

Overview

This is a varied role that offers flexible hours for the right candidate. You will be supporting three senior consultants, assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, invoicing, debt collection and other office duties. You will also provide customer support over the phone. Ideally you will have worked in an IT environment and have a genuine love or interest in furthering your knowledge and experience in IT.


Net Solutions is a boutique provider of IT solutions to a varied customer base. We specialise in the design, implementation and support of client networks and seek a junior Administrator to manage this process.


Based in Lane Cove and working in a fun, friendly environment we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a small team, can multi task and has strong organisational skills. Your background should also include working with and supporting customers. Duties


  • Process invoices, debt collection, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.

  • Assistance with other office duties

  • Managing Consultant Calendars

  • Level 1 phone support and customer liaison

  • Working with Office software, particularly Outlook


Additional skills


  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the IT industry, but not required.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting and invoicing using Xero is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Win 11)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications

  • PC Hardware maintenance experience (diagnosing faults, updates, and installations)
