Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Sydney is seeking a Junior Integration Developer to join our Technology team. You’ll work on APIs, automation and data integration across clinical, workforce, finance and operations systems.

You’ll collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and Solution Architects to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions while growing your skills in enterprise technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS or software engineering.
• 1–3 years' experience in software/integration development or similar role.
• Familiar with REST, JSON, XML and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs and connectors.
• Configure, test and support integration processes.
• Build data mappings and transformation logic between systems.
• Monitor integration performance and investigate issues.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews and project delivery.
• Work with data formats including JSON, XML, CSV and database records.
• Maintain technical documentation and support materials.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
