Job summary

New London-Spicer School District 345 is seeking an Athletic Coach / Activities Advisor to lead coaching and advisement for middle/high school grades 6-12, with a focus on golf for Jr High. You will supervise practices, manage competitions, and oversee transportation and athletic facilities under the guidance of the Activities Director.

The role requires a high school diploma; teaching/coaching license is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current district staff member preferred but not required.
• Teaching and coaching license preferred but not required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate practices pre-, in-, and post-season.
• Coach/advising responsibilities for athletic and activity competitions.
• Ensure safety procedures and discipline as needed.
• Attend awards programs and help manage equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate transportation and facility operations for grades 6-12.
