New London-Spicer School District 345 is seeking an Athletic Coach / Activities Advisor to lead coaching and advisement for middle/high school grades 6-12, with a focus on golf for Jr High. You will supervise practices, manage competitions, and oversee transportation and athletic facilities under the guidance of the Activities Director.
The role requires a high school diploma; teaching/coaching license is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is needed.
An athletic coach /activities advisor coaches, supervises, manages, coordinates, and plans all practices pre-season, in-season, and post-season. The athletic coach/ activities advisor is also responsible for coaching/advising, supervising, and managing all athletic and activity competitions. The total operation of the extracurricular programs, athletics, activities, transportation, and related athletic facility operations for grades 6-12. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Activities Director.

Thorough knowledge of Minnesota State High School League website, handbooks, and calendars and scheduling system; general knowledge of Minnesota Department of Education website, Infinite Campus software; and Impact Test Online; thorough knowledge of District Website and Infinite Campus Reports; thorough knowledge of standard office equipment; ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, students, parents, and elected officials.
This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel and occasionally requires standing and walking; work requires close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception, color perception, and peripheral vision; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data;work has no exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Valid driver's license. Current Head Coaching license through MDE or willing to obtain for position
$1,704 - $2,271 per season dependent on experience
