Job summary

Jim's Group in Melbourne's outer east is seeking a Junior Front-End Developer to deliver front-end components end to end, from requirements analysis through development, API integration, testing, deployment support and production hot fixes under the guidance of senior staff.

This permanent full-time role (38 hours per week) is based on-site at Mooroolbark, with a salary of AU$75,000 to AU$85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in CS/IT/SE/Web Development.
• Ability to read existing code and analyze requirements.
• Experience with responsive design and component-based development.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable front-end components and UI elements.
• Convert legacy Visual Basic workflows to React components.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and manage app state.
• Identify and fix defects and deploy hot fixes per procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
