Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Australia is seeking a field service engineer with a strong electrical/mechanical background to service Medical Imaging systems and related equipment. Travel locally and internationally is required, with on-site support for hospitals and clinics across the region.

The role combines hands-on maintenance, upgrades, and installations with ongoing training, mentorship, and safety compliance. Flexibility for shifts and weekends will be necessary to meet service commitments.

Qualifications

• The candidate will be trade qualified or university trained.
• Restricted electrical licence preferable or able to obtain.
• Pride yourself on customer satisfaction and outcomes.
• Willing to work overtime, shiftwork (7am–7pm) and weekends when required.
• Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
• Evidence of permanent work rights in Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customer sites including public/private hospitals and clinics.
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, repairs, and installations.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders for smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Continuing training through self-learning, courses, mentorship, and hands-on work.
• Adhering to Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
