Job summary

Marble Group in NSW is seeking a Junior Estimator with a trade background in cabinet making, joinery, or shopfitting to step off the tools and join a leading joinery manufacturer. You will join the estimating team, receive full training, and learn the complete tendering process with mentoring from experienced estimators.

You will review drawings and schedules, produce quotes, source supplier pricing, and collaborate with clients, builders and workshops to ensure accurate estimates and on-time

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in joinery, cabinet making or shopfitting.
• Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials and workshop processes.
• Foundation in estimating is preferred, but full training can be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and comfort with numbers.
• Able to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Clear communicator who works well in a team and under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Take off materials, hardware and labour requirements for joinery packages.
• Prepare accurate quotes and tender submissions.
• Source and compare supplier pricing.
• Liaise with clients, builders and suppliers to clarify scope and pricing.
• Work with the workshop and project teams to reflect real-world build methods.
• Assist with variations, revisions and follow-ups on submitted tenders.

The role:
