Essential:
  • Hands‑on experience writing SQL, including joins, aggregations, CTEs and window functions.
  • An understanding of core data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT, data modelling, incremental loading and data validation.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A willingness to ask questions, take feedback and build greater autonomy over time.
Advantageous:
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL Database, including T‑SQL and stored procedures, or other relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
