Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join our 24/7 Security Operations Centre in Canberra. You will monitor networks for anomalies, perform basic triage and work on high-value cybersecurity services to protect Australian Defence Force personnel.

This on-site, shift-based role offers training, mentorship and career growth within a collaborative team, with opportunities to advance into GRC, Engineering or Threat Hunt as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate SIEM operation and ability to follow a chain of events across multiple searches.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks for anomalies, events and alerts.
• Perform basic triage and manage events end-to-end when needed.
• Collaborate with Senior Analysts for mentorship and guidance.
• Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Work within a 24/7 SOC shift cycle on-site in Canberra.
