Job summary

Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond Pty. Ltd. (TBH) is seeking an entry-level Consultant – Civil Engineer to support TBH technical teams. The role focuses on assisting Project Managers with outputs to meet deliverables, under senior guidance, across planning, design, and scheduling activities.

You will work with internal teams and contractors, contribute to cost estimation, schedule development, and data analysis to inform design decisions while upholding safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or Business/Commerce.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Beginner to intermediate skills in TBH software and TBH programs.
• Experience using Microsoft applications are desirable.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of an integrated team.
• Strong work organization and time management skills.
• Knowledge of project management and project controls principles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering project plans under senior engineers.
• Contribute to design development with technical drawings, docs and specs.
• Support project execution by coordinating with internal teams and contractors.
• Participate in investigations and data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Assist in cost estimation and budget monitoring, document variations.
• Contribute to engineering analysis to meet safety and compliance requirements.
• Support design activities with data analysis and technical inputs.
• Review and present data findings in required formats.
• Prepare deliverables for client submissions with high-quality analysis and reports.
• Apply TBH project controls methodologies to identify and solve problems.
